At Ducks Unlimited, you can rest assured that your gifts are being utilized effectively. We strive to use at least 80 percent of every dollar funding our mission.

Since our inception in 1938, we've conserved more than 6.6 million acres of natural habitat and influenced 195.2 million acres more. Conservation is about more than nature.

Answer: Ducks Unlimited magazine is published six times per year. Each issue covers two months. Ducks Unlimited magazine is typically released during the first week of January, March, May, July, September, and November.

In 2023 alone, more than 30,000 volunteers hosted nearly 600,000 attendees at 4,555 events to raise money for the organization's North American habitat initiatives. Today, the group generates more than $90 million of its roughly $320 million annual revenues from its event system.

By giving the appreciated land to Ducks Unlimited, the donor can take a tax deduction for the fair market value of the property on the day it is given and avoid paying any capital gains tax. DU gets the full value of the gift toward our mission and will not pay any gain tax when sold for operational revenue.

Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people. Waterfowl conservation is facing important challenges as wetlands and other habitats are being degraded and destroyed across the continent.
