Visit any The Home Depot® store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Check your balance online at homedepot.com/gift-cards/balance.

If the balance falls below the cut-off line, ask the cashier to pay you the balance of the gift card in cash. Some will do it automatically and others will have to call the store manager to find out how to do it.

Typically, you'll find a toll-free number you can call to discover your balance. Or you can check your balance by visiting the card issuer's site and entering your card's 16-digit number and security code.
